Southwest Connector Trail
SW Connector Trail Aerial MapThe Southwest Connector Trail is a proposed multi-use trail providing safe pedestrian access from the southwest quadrant of Leesburg to points of interest inside the bypass, including the W&OD Trail, Loudoun County High School and the Historic Downtown.  A major feature of the trail is a pedestrian/bicycle bridge over the Route 7/15 bypass, connecting from Clubhouse Drive to Lee Avenue.  The project is divided into 3 phases, as shown on the aerial photo below, and is currently in design.  In response to citizen concerns, Town staff held a meeting on June 14, 2010, with Town residents to gain input on the alignment of Phase III of the trail and will report back to the Town Council at a July 2010 meeting to present recommendations.  More information.
