R.O.C.K. (Recreation Outreach to Community Kids)
Welcome to the Town of Leesburg’s Community Outreach Department. R.O.C.K. is a partnership between the Town of Leesburg Parks and Recreation Department and the Leesburg Police Department. Our goal is to provide positive recreation and leisure experiences through after school and summer programs. The program is for ages 5-12 that reside within the program locations.
R.O.C.K.'S Vision
Our Vision is to offer a successful recreation-based program thats keeps youth safe and provides positive experiences.
The program is located at the following four communities within the Town of Leesburg:
• Heritage Square
• Evans Ridge
• The Fields of Leesburg
• Fort Evans
There will be no fee; this is a free service for the youth. Registration information will be required for each individual attending the program for emergency purposes.
Our Goals
• Provide activities that are designed for low to moderate income youth aged 5-12;
• Encourage more structured, positive socialization;
• Provide meaningful and structured recreation-based experiences to Leesburg youth;
• Increase children’s awareness of their community.
