Full Scholarship Program


The Town of Leesburg offers this program to individuals and families who are residents of the Town of Leesburg, but may be prohibited from use of the Ida Lee Park Recreation Center due to their household income. Applicants must complete the application form for income verification, and meet the income criteria established by the Department of Social Services Food Stamp Program. Eligible applicants will be awarded a 25-visit adult pass to the Ida Lee Park Recreation Center for general use, or participation in recreation/aquatic classes once the minimum number of paying participants required for each class has been obtained.

Financially Disadvantaged Program for a Fee Reduction - If the application is approved for a Financially Disadvantage Fee Reduction, the patron may receive 50% off one of the following services:

  • a. A 25-visit adult pass to the Ida Lee Recreation Center for general use; or
  • b. A six-month pass to the Ida Lee Recreation Center for general use; or
  • c. A one-year pass to the Ida Lee Recreation Center for general use; or
  • d. Participation in one recreation/aquatic class per adult/child as identified on the application form once the minimum number of paying participants required for each class has been obtained.

Approved applications expire one year from date of the notification letter. Applications will be maintained and filed for a period of three years.

* A maximum of four scholarships are available per applicant within a calendar year.
