  • American Red Cross Classes -American Red Cross Classes and babysitting certification.
  • Aquatics - Learn to swim classes for all ages, aquatic exercise classes, swim teams for youth and adult, water safety training classes, lifeguard training, adaptive aquatics, diving lessons, parent and infant swim lessons, private swim lessons, and many special events in the pool.
  • Arts & Crafts - We offer a variety of arts and crafts classes. Each class is lead by an experienced instructor. We have art and craft classes for parents and toddlers, youth, adults, and seniors.
  • Camps - Seasonal and summer camps available through out the year for preschoolers to 9th graders.
  • Child Care - A drop off child care program is available for parents to utilize while working out at the Ida Lee Park Recreation Center.
  • Dance - The department offers dance classes for children ages 2-14. The classes are designed to teach one or a combination of jazz, tap, ballet, hip-hop, and creative movement. Adult swing and ballroom dance classes are offered.
  • Fitness Classes and Personal Training - Here you’ll find aquatic and land-based classes designed for a variety of fitness levels. For a personalized program, you can request a Personal Trainer to help you develop strength, endurance, and flexibility.
  • Kaleidoscope Children's Performance Series
    Nature Classes
    - Learn more about our environment through this hands-on experience. Classes are designed for ages 4-6 and a naturalist instructs the classes.
  • Preschool - Our preschool program will provide a meaningful experience for your child by emphasizing your child’s cognitive, social, gross and fine motor skills in a safe, fun environment. Licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia.
  • Special Events - The Town of Leesburg Department of Parks and Recreation presents four major special events annually, as well as, many smaller events. Our four major special events are; The Leesburg Flower and Garden Festival (April), Independence Day Celebration (4th of July), Court and Market Days (October), and Holidays in Leesburg (December). Some of the smaller events we offer are: an Egg Hunt, Winter Holiday Jamboree, Arts and Craft Shows, Family Dances, and more.
  • Special Interest - From learning how to play the guitar to cooking classes, we have a variety of unique classes to meet your interests and needs.
  • Sports - Tennis lessons, soccer, lacrosse, fencing, youth flag football league, baseball workshops, aggressive skating lessons, youth gymnastics, and more to come.
  • Tennis - We offer a wide variety of classes, camps, tennis challenges, and more. Experience the fun of our seven court tennis complex
  • Tots & Play Dates - We offer a variety of indoor activities and field trips for you and your toddler.
  • Trips - All ages can try a variety of trips, which range from theater, adventure and educational.
